Judith Vanistendael has just released her third Graphic Novel and is already working on other multiple projects. As a native of Brussels she speaks many languages, experiments with new techinques and topics. Most of all, she is a masterful storyteller. Confident sensitivity and warmhearted honesty allow her to construct profound worlds with fleeting strokes. As a lecturer at the renowned St. Luca College of Fine Arts (BE) she passes all this on to upcoming generations. And during nine days same goes for the Fumetto audience, who can experience the artist daily and live. The exhibition opens the path from sketch to finalized page and offers a unique opportunity to hold originals in one’s hand. Furthermore, Vanistendael invites various Fumetto-artists to elicit with unified illustrator- forces the best out of a risograph.
