Unnoticed by the world, they think, sketch, write and colorize day in, day out, be it in their studios or merely at the kitchen table – the hidden illustrator talents and comic stars of tomorrow. As an important platform for innovative comic creation and as a festival with world-wide presence Fumetto invites one Swiss talent each year, to set up a main exhibition including publication. This year Fumetto presents ANDA (Anne-Danielle Furrer), a promising female artist from Neuchâtel. With her pronounced sense for the storytelling possibilties of the ninth art and her overwhelming magic at fine colored pencil illustrations, the young illustrator takes the visitor along on a winter’s trip between reality, fiction and dream.
